The Consumer Public Safety Information Act (CPSIA) was signed into law in August 2008. The law expands the role of the U.S. Consumer Public Safety Commission (CPSC) and institutes new testing and documentation requirements. The law increases the restrictions on acceptable levels of lead and phthalates, particularly in children’s products. Kids Konserve exceeds CPSIA standards, as all products are lead-free and phthalate-free.
